Grandpa's new house is on the way....the foundation went in this week!

While Daddy was busy helping Grandpa cut and bend rebar for the new foundation, the boys were busy finding much more interesting uses for these fascinating chunks of metal:

"Golf Course"

Grandpa's House

Grandpa has the best "Man Cave" ever; 3 boats, a camper, a tractor, and "Yots of Youd" machines.






He also has the perfect field for learning to ride without training wheels!






And of course he's happy to have so much "help" building his new house.
(We only moved one or two of those little string markers...those aren't important, right?)

Mrs Kirbawy's class had their Chinese New Years Day parade today.

Sometimes the boys are pretty sure that there's a monster in their closet.

It makes the same sorts of scary noises as a fat, lazy, grey haired, snoring Golden Retriever.

Bell St

We spent the weekend cleaning almost all of the last of our junk out of the Bell St house and helping the new owner, Andi and her mom with some little house projects to ensure that all goes smoothly with closing.

Yes, this is an extremely unconventional way to work a real estate deal, but much more civilized too.

Daddy's little Jalopy did 6 dump runs packed to the gills (the new house has NO storage).
