TMT

(That's Train Medical Technician)

Toby crashed and needed urgent care, obviously.

House Party

This weekend we celebrated both Grandpa and Grandma Connie's birthdays in their unfinished house.

Seashore

This weekend we took Mima on a super fun trip to the ocean for her birthday.

The boys absolutely LOVE hotels, and since neither one can read, they didn't know OR CARE that the wall in our room said "embrace quiet".

Sorry people.

Alpine Lakes Wilderness

Just a quick video to share a bit of the scenery on my 83(ish) Mile hike through the Alpine Lakes Wilderness.  I have a ton more photos and videos, but no time to edit so this will have to do for now.

Kindergarten

Success!
NEW Dana got both boys dressed and fed, got teeth brushed and even had time to snuggle with stories before dropping Ewan at Lisa's house and Drake in line at school.

Happily reunited with good buddy Fynn!

Sailing

Early Sunday morning the boys built this boat and set sail for Hawaii:

I suggested life jackets, but they opted for hard hats.

Dana 2

Summer is officially over; kindergarten starts Monday.

Mima has retired from the early morning shift, and "Dana 2" (or "NEW Dana") is taking over. It is very important to clarify (over and over and over....) that NEW Dana is not the same person as OLD Dana (who is off looking for bears in Canada) even though they have the same color hair.

NEW Dana will come every morning and get little boys dressed, fed, and shipped off for the day's adventures. (Or at least, she'll try a test run this week, and see if she wants a permanent job.)

PCT

This weekend we picked up Dad'n from his six day adventure on the Pacific Crest Trail;
75 down, 2,401 left to go!

Unfortunately, the boys got some sort of sneaky stomach bug and we decided to head home early.
(If you really need to read between the lines,
imagine if The Exorcist was filmed inside a small three person tent....)

PS: The best way to scare chipmunks
out of your campsite
is to chase them with ketchup.
