This weekend Emily sent us to our favorite hotel by the ocean (a belated birthday present for Dad'n). 

We finally figured out that the key to happiness on a weekend getaway is to bring along a Mima and make her sleep with the boys...and the dog. 

This arrangement might not be totally awesome for poor Mima, but it sure works out well for everyone else!!

Projects

This was a drizzly, but productive weekend.
With Mima back in town, (fresh from an adventure in the Bermuda Triangle), we seized the opportunity to send the boys across town for a night.



While the boys played Color Bath, Mommy and Dad'n pushed down the old front fence (it was mostly down already), recovered the salvageable bits, and built a sweet new(ish) fence and gate:



Look: it latches without rope! (The Fedex driver will be SO pleased).

Kindergarten
