Pepeʻopae Bog

Pictures can't do this place justice! Captain Tim, Leanna, and Illio (that's Dog in Hawaiian) took us up to hike the bog - these are the highest sea cliffs in the world (which sounds super impressive, but really all except 4,000 feet is underwater). The top of the mountain is all bog (sounds crazy, but it's true).
Totally amazing.

  1. That "except 4,000 feet" means those sea cliffs are nearly a mile high "just" counting the above the sea part.
