This weekend we went for more soggy Washington camping.
This time we tried Mossyrock Campground on Riffe Lake.
Things to do in the rain while camping:
1. Go for a (very soggy) sail:
2. "Dry" your clothes off under the tarp:
3. Do some yoga on the picnic table (under the tarp):
4. Let the tarp wash your dishes for you:
5. Watch the fire sputter in the rain:
6. Hide in the tent eating waffles and watching Toy Story:

You know what your kids are going to do for adolescent rebellion, don't you? Steal your credit cards, take a couple of girls, and check into a Club Med.

ReplyDeleteAnd then in their 30's they will be trekking in Outer Mongolia (or outer space) where you will not know for months where they are or if they are even alive, but they will be having a Grand Time! because you taught them how.
ReplyDeleteI love that picture of Drake in the rain staring at the fire, a quintessential Washington camping picture.
