A new plan
Ewan is still desperately trying to spring D from this "school" place.
I'm not sure if the bear was supposed to open the gate from the inside, or just go keep D company.
My dog Obie could help explain this. You put something somewhere you can't get it, and make somebody bigger and stronger and smarter retrieve it for you.
Ewan, whose cognitive abilities have probably already surpassed a yorkipoo's, may have figured out that in order to retrieve the object, the bigger and stronger person will have to open the gate.
I thought he was merely carrying on the fine Stewart boy tradition of pillaging Mima's house when he took the bear. Turns out he was forming his own Hostage Rescue Team!
