I know that everyone gets antsy when we go too long with nothing new to report, but lately we've just been sort of submerged in the daily grind.
The weather has finally gotten nice enough for Dad'n to start riding his bike to work over the newly rebuilt historic 11th Street bridge, and Mommy is eyeballs deep in "Policy Governance 101" as a new member of the amazing Tacoma Food Coop Board of Directors.
Ewan is, as always, just trying to get himself into Mrs. Kirbawy's classroom.

Drake has been spending some quality time with Ms Peg, an amazing Occupational Therapist who has diagnosed him with "Tactile Defensiveness" (which I will let you google for yourself) and is working with him to provide "tactile stimulation". I'm sure we'll have MUCH more to say about this new development in the future, but for now, we'll just all have to Google together.
It so fits! Sometimes genetic; the clothing; the messy stuff - I remember his reaction to finger paints! - the reaction to overstimulation, from Chritmas to long day trips, to getting overwhelmed by school (what a friend describes as "white-knuckling it" through school and dissolving into tantrums at home)
