We watched JJ's Championship baseball game, had a birthday BBQ at Auntie Bess' house, a brunch with Cousin Gracie and her entourage, and took the Gronkle out for a maiden voyage to the beach.

The Gronkle is Mima's "new" VW camper. It is named after this guy:
We chose this name so that when we're broken down by the side of the road we can yell "I LOST POWER ON THE GRONCKLE!!"
This is only truly funny to those of us who have been lucky enough to watch "How To Train Your Dragon" 382 times, but believe me, it will all be worth it when it happens.
