Rivers

After three nights at the beach, we headed off to Gifford Pinchot National Forest and found a cozy spot by the Cispus River near Mt. Adams.

These guys bite. 
A LOT.  

So we headed off to find the Ginko Petrified Forest. 
On the way there, we discovered that there is currently no camping allowed below the recently damaged Wanapum Dam (for safety reasons). 
So we took a quick dip in the Yakima River and headed North to the Wenatchee National Forest. 


This spot on the Cle Elum River was juuuust right. 
Until we were overrun by a clan of howling middle aged ladies. 

So we changed spots.
